Last June, I had the pleasure to participate in a beautiful editorial project. Melissa Wilpotte organized an event taking place at Hotel Chais Monnet, Cognac, France. For those who might not know about it, Cognac is a worldwide renowned city where an amber-color liquor (“Cognac”) has been manufactured since generations. It was our team’s goal to create a modern, high end, and fashion artistic project that would pay tribute to Cognac.

For this project, Melissa Wilpotte called on talented wedding designer Veronique Lorre to imagine a wedding design on notes of amber, peach, and Mountbatten peach. Veronique amazed us with the care she put into colorful details and her thoughtful work on textures.
Sylvie from Insieme Creations imagined two wedding stationery suites with brownish champagne colors.
Meriem from Madeleines & Macarons baked minimalist white and gold delicacies to balance the amber colors with a touch of timeless gourmet taste.

Regarding the styling of the bride, Maison NCV created two wedding gowns for the occasion. One asymmetric ceremony gown with a single large sleeve, and an on-skirt, and on the other hand an evening hand-sewn sequins cocktail dress. To best feature this evening dress, we shot at the jazz bar of Hotel Chais Monnet, in order to reflect a glamorous welcome dinner party.
Iman Be imagined a modern, lavished make up, while Ileana created two hairstyles, each for one gown.
Heloïse from So Helo Wedding Jewelry matched each of the day and evening styles with hand-made, flowery earrings.

Last but not least, Mickael from Celinni Bordeaux created a unique piece of jewelry with a peach morganite engagement ring, to echo the amber palette of the whole project.

While I was shooting pictures for this editorial, Sandy Cluzaud shot videos of this beautiful event. She assembled a modern, cinematographic, glamorous video that now reminds us in motion of this great project.
