A Modern Wedding at Le Meurice: Parisian Elegance Redefined

Wedding

When A. proposed to R. at the iconic Le Meurice in Paris, there was no question about where they would celebrate their big day. Returning to this historic Parisian palace, reimagined by Philippe Starck, felt like the perfect choice. Once again, the brilliant Amanda Novena, a New York-based wedding planner, orchestrated their special day to perfection.

The ceremony took place in the exquisite Salon Pompadour, officiated by Laura Montorio from The Paris Officiant. The décor featured a striking asymmetrical floral arch designed by Veronique Lorre, a celebrated floral designer I already had had the opportunity to work with. Combining lush flowers with a flowing fabric drape, the setup was minimalist yet bold, showcasing a vibrant red palette—one of 2025’s trendiest colors. The emotional highlight of the ceremony came when cellist Wagner Matos serenaded the couple, leaving not a dry eye in the room. As a parisian style wedding photographer, I couldn’t help but admire how every detail contributed to a visually stunning atmosphere.

The dinner reception, also held in the Salon Pompadour, was an epitome of modern elegance. Veronique Lorre transformed the space with minimalist centerpieces adorned with cascading ribbons, creating a chic yet whimsical atmosphere. Renowned pastry chef Cédric Grolet crafted a stunning croquembouche in the shape of a heart. With its delicate vanilla cream-filled choux and artistic quenelle-shaped petals, the masterpiece reflected the unparalleled artistry of the Alain Ducasse restaurant and the excellence of Le Meurice.

As for the bride, she stunned everyone with not one but two breathtaking gowns by Rime Arodaky. For the ceremony, she wore the exact dress that Rime herself donned on her wedding day—a modern design with a short front and a dramatic train. Later in the evening, she switched to a playful shorter dress, perfect for dancing the night away in style.

I feel truly honored to have captured the magic of this unforgettable wedding at Le Meurice. Collaborating with such talented professionals as Amanda Novena, videographer Pierre Froger, and floral designer Veronique Lorre made this day a dream come true. Being a Paris wedding photographer allows me to witness and document these extraordinary moments, and this event was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my career.
